Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH), a voluntary Homoeopathic Medical Academic Organisation, in association with Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh has organized a one day programerefresh 2009 on 18th July, 2009, at a well equipped, furnished and maintained conference hall at Dr. Allu Ramalingaiah Govt. Homoeo Medical College & Hospital, Rajahmundry. As a part of their programme, IPH has conducted a COLLEGE & PHYSICIAN SURVEY PROGRAMME 2009 also among the students and Physicians who attended the seminar.

The CME programme refresh was inaugurated by Dr. M. S. K. NAGESWARA RAO , in charge Principal, Dr. A. R. G. H. Medical College Rajahmundry. In his inaugural words, he welcomed the motivation, interest and volunteer ship to promote high standards in clinical practice, by educating the students and house physicians.Dr. D. V. KRISHNA RAO academic Director, IPH has presented the introduction and reported the activities of IPH since its inception i.e. from 2003 till the March 2009. He expressed that the IPH could achieved to create awareness on Homoeopathy among the members of INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (IMA) of the local branch. Dr. C. P. SATYA PRASAD academic advisor of IPH and former Professor Dr. G. G. H. Medical College, Gudivada told that the similar programmes refresh 2005 and 2006 was organized in Dr.G.G.H.Medical College, Gudivada and Govt. Homoeo Medical College, Kadapa, in which all the participants including the teaching staff and the students are impressed by the programme and they had implemented the contents in their practice. He also stressed the need to note and follow the contents of the programme to achieve better results in their future practice.

Dr. B. S. MOHAN Director, IPH, before delivering his presentation on “ HOW TO ACHIEVE BETTER PRACTICE WITH HOMOEOPATHY”, he compared the development in the modern Medical science and Homeopathy.This programme attempted and pin pointedly discussed all the topics to elucidate the “ Practice Management of Homoeopathy ” including duties of a Practitioner, Clinical staff, Selection and Dispensing the remedy, Documentation of case records, ‘DOs and DON’T s, suggestions to practitioner, etc., Dr. I. SRINIVAS of Narsarao Peta, Guntur district, an IPH member, has given a Power point presentation explaining how to establish a Homoeo clinic under the caption MODEL HOMOEO CLINIC. He narrated all the details in establishing the clinic which includes the required measurements according to Andhra Pradesh Private Medical Care establishment act and Consumer Protection Act.

Dr. N. GAVESH ofChirala, Prakasm district, an IPH member, has presented a case of “ DIABETIC FOOT GANGRENE ”. He stressed the importance of Homoeopathy, where one can avoid the amputation or surgery.Dr. T. V. SAGAR of Bapatla, Prakasm district, an IPH member, has presented a case of “ STERILITY with MARKER CHROMOSOME ”. He documented and presented this case well with all the required genetic analysis reports. It is a case was succeeded even after failure of IVF for two times.Dr. C. PAVAN KUMAR of Vijayawada, Krishna district, an IPH member, has presented a case of “ VITILIGO in a FEMALE CHILD ”. He presented this case with all evidences and images. Here he pointed out the need of a future of the female child with vitiligo and selection of the drug on the basis of Maism.

Dr. B. S. MOHAN of Amalapuram East Godavari district, Director, IPH member, has presented a surgical case of “ PERI ANAL ABSCESS ”. He presented this case with all evidences and serial images of treatment and management. Here he stressed the importance of Homoeopathic treatment to avoid the Surgery.The chief guest presented the Mementoes to all the members and persons who worked behind the screen for the refresh 2009.Most of the Students and other delegates participated in the question time, and got clarification for their queries. Dr. M. V. S. A. K. P. GUPTHA presented the VOTE of THANKS.
